Coronavirus Update

The safety and well-being of Poolwerx clients is always top of mind, therefore, we have been actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19).  As a company that prides itself on maintaining healthy swimming pools and hot tubs, we wanted to share with you with some actions that we are taking as a company to keep our communities safe.

Pools and Hot Tubs

First and foremost, according to the CDC, there is no evidence that pools or hot tubs can spread the virus.


As destination travel is discouraged and more people choose to stay at home, we want to remind our clients that now, more than ever, proper pool care is critical. If you have any questions about properly maintaining your pool or hot tub, please call Poolwerx at 1-800-407-6657.

Retail Locations

Our retail locations will remain operational. In addition to following the CDC’s best practices on personal preventative measures and handwashing, we are increasing the frequency in which we disinfect commonly shared surfaces and supplying our employees with hand sanitizers, disinfect wipes and sprays.

We also encourage our clients to call in any product orders ahead of your visit, and if the location is able, we will arrange curbside delivery to minimize contact.


Services, maintenance and repairs will continue as scheduled unless otherwise directed by the client. Our pool technicians are also armed with disinfectants and have been instructed to wipe down vehicle surfaces, tools and equipment.


We have instructed any employee that may be experiencing symptoms to take personal time. Any employee that has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or that has come into contact with someone that has been diagnosed, is being required to self-isolate themselves for up to 14 days to prevent any further exposure.
