Retail Onboarding Specialist

Poolwerx, the world’s only global pool brand and the largest in the industry, is seeking a Retail and Onboarding Specialist to join our team and provide support to Franchise Partners in all aspects of Retail Operations while driving increased sales through retail excellence and expanding the network. Based in Farmers Branch Texas and reporting directly to the VP of People Performance and Culture, you will be responsible for helping new franchisees bring Poolwerx to their organization and align their goals to the Poolwerx franchise system, owning the Onboarding program along with its metrics for success. You will also be working with Poolwerx Support Center (PSC) Specialists and Field Team to support the long-term growth of Poolwerx and its growing retail franchise community.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage new store conversion, fit-out, and relocation projects including floor plan and budget development
  • Manage all elements of onboarding and the implementation of Poolwerx Human Resources procedures
  • Manage the implementation of Poolwerx best practices in service & maintenance, supply procedures, and business system
  • Manage the implementation of Local Area Marketing activities and transition of website, social media, and other digital assets
  • Drive brand transition communications for new franchise partners
  • Review and make recommendations on all proposed retail locations ensuring that the selected sites and business models align with the Poolwerx retail site criteria
  • Assist the Marketing department with sales ideas and innovative projects in retail merchandising
  • Ensure clear communication with Business Development Managers on retail, training, and marketing activities
  • Coach and train Franchise Partners and field team in retail presentation standards and operational best practices
  • Update and maintain the Retail Operations Manual, tools & resources, and track the implementation of retail promotional activities

Successful Candidates Must Have:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a multi-site, specialist, or consultative retail environment

  • Relevant or similar background in retail management, merchandising, or project management
  • Experience in retail store expansion program with a franchise or publicly listed company
  • Knowledge and understanding of the nuances of retail ‘leasing’
  • A proven track record of sales and profit achievement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to travel country wide
