Celebrating our Young Leaders in the Pool Industry

PoolPro Magazine's 2024 "30 Under 40" list honors 30 top young professionals in the swimming pool industry. Among them are Kevin Linsley, 38, and Steven Kay, 33, co-owners of Poolwerx Ogden, Northern Utah.

From Landscape Design to Pool Services

Linsley holds a degree in landscape architecture from Utah State University. He spent six years in outdoor space design and construction before founding Valley Design Build. Kay graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a horticultural degree. He joined Valley Design Build in 2015, managing complex landscape projects. Their shared experiences highlighted a gap in comprehensive pool and water feature servicing, leading them to establish Poolwerx Northern Utah.

Linsley aims to support families by offering personal and exceptional pool maintenance services, especially as pool installations rise in Utah. He emphasizes the importance of pool safety, advocating for measures to prevent child drownings. Kay finds fulfillment in customer satisfaction, striving to ensure seamless and enjoyable pool ownership experiences. He looks forward to mastering his craft and expanding the company's presence in Utah.
