They suggested I bring in a water sample to test and they would be able to help with providing me a computer generated report and what chemicals I would need to get my pool water back to where it needed to be. I did just that and the report explained exactly what I needed. I purchased the chemicals needed and within one week, my PH level and Chlorine was where it needed to be. But I want to say the level of customer service I received was comparable to Chivalry….there is not much of that anymore. They actually listen to their customers’ wants and needs and address them. I was so comfortable talking with them both. Then the unthinkable happened…just days later, my pool pump died on me…..I searched and searched online to locate one all to no avail. I decided to try Desert Pool Supply so I went back there and asked Vanessa if she had one or knew where to get one. By the Grace of God she had one available in store and available at a very competitive price. I bought it on the spot….and guess what? They have a full service portion of their business. Vanessa scheduled the install within three days. Joel and a tech came to my home and installed the pump in two hours flat. They took the time to explain how things worked and showed me the proper way to clean my pool. I can’t tell you how happy that made me. It’s rare in today’s day and age to get this kind of customer service. I want to believe it’s because Desert Pool is a family owned and operated business and both Vanessa and her husband Joel’s background makes them the kind of business people they are. Desert Pool is a place you can go just to visit and talk about pool stuff without being hurried out the door. They also have a huge selection of equipment, toys, filters and just about anything you may need for your pool. If they don’t have it there, well you can best believe they know where to get it. Desert Pool is a one stop shop and perfect for the residents of Pahrump. Definitely stop by and say hello if you’re in the area, you’ll be glad you did.
